Wax Products
Once honey is extracted the capping wax pieces are filtered, melted, and cleaned, then used in our poured candles and other wax products. Beeswax candles burn longer than paraffin or soy candles due to their higher melting point. (Beeswax begins melting at 143*, while paraffin and soy-based wax begins to melt at 115* and 118* respectively.) A cleaner candle, our beeswax has no artificial scents or dyes. These sheets are made from cotton infused with our beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin. They have antibacterial properties, and will last up to 6 months with proper care. "Bear Turds" - slumgum fire starter (10 pack)

Slumgum is the term for old brood comb that's been retired after years of use by the bees. The combs are scraped from the frames and replaced with new foundation. Containing tiny amounts of wax and leftover cocoons, the pieces of comb are fashioned into a shape resembling their namesake and are an ideal fire-starter for your fireplace, wood stove, or outdoor fire pit. Not for use in pellet stoves. Quantities may be limited.
