Wax Products
Once honey is extracted, the capping wax pieces are filtered, melted, and cleaned, then used in our poured candles and other wax products. Beeswax candles burn longer than paraffin or soy candles due to its higher melting point. (Beeswax melts at 143*, while paraffin and soy-based wax melts at 115* and 118* respectively.) A cleaner candle, using a cotton wick and no artificial scents or dyes. When burned in a draft-free area, our candles drip considerably less than petroleum-based alternatives.

These reusable wraps are made from cotton infused with our beeswax, organic jojoba oil, and tree resin, and they offer antibacterial properties. With proper care, they can last up to 6 months. "Bear Turds" - slumgum fire starter

Slumgum refers to the old brood comb that has been retired after years of dedicated use by the bees. These combs, which contain remnants of wax, leftover cocoons, and contribute to natural honey products, are scraped from the frames and replaced with new foundation.
